Virginia Sue Adams

Ms. Virginia Sue (Lester) Adams of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence having attained the age of 75 years, 2 months and 17 days.  She was born in Monticello, (Wayne County) Kentucky on Monday, February 11, 1946, the daughter of Willie Ray Lester & Mary Hazel (Catron) Hicks. She was of the Baptist faith.  She was an L.P.N. at Britthaven Nursing Home and Rehab in Somerset, Kentucky.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Gossage and a brother, Mike Kendrick.

     She is survived by her two sons, Michael Lee “Mike” (& Tammy) Adams, Eric David Adams , both of Monticello, Kentucky, siblings, Carolyn Walcott of  Monticello, Kentucky, Dennis (& Linda) Lester of Berea, Kentucky, Donnie (& Gail) Lester of Monticello, Kentucky, Cecil (& Cindy) Kendrick of North Carolina, granddaughters, Sierra Adams (& Tyler) West of Lexington, Kentucky, Erica Jane Adams of Monticello, Kentucky, one great-grandson, Atticus Adams West and many other relatives and friends.
