Stephen Wayne McClellan

Mr. Stephen Wayne McClellan, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at The Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, having attained the age of 51 years, 10 months & 18 days. He was born in Monticello on Thursday, March 11, 1971 to Billie Everett & Esther Bernice (Harris) McClellan. He was a Cristian man and a Member of The Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and was a former Maintenance Man for the City of Monticello, & Wayne County. He was preceded in death by his mother, and a brother, Billy K. McClellan.

     He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn M. (& Tylor) Foster, Father, Bill McClellan, Sister, Vickie (& Gary) Gregory and Sister-in-law, Julie McClellan all of Monticello, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Kenzleigh, Rowen, Avery & Peyton.

     The Funeral Service was conducted on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Meece Officiating, Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello. Casket bearers were Derek Gregory, Jordan McClellan, Casey Dalton, Michael McClellan, Nathan McClellan, Tylor Foster, Roger Criswell, and Webb Upchurch. In lieu of Flowers, contributions appreciated to the final expenses, and may be made to the funeral home.
