Sherri Machelle Evans

Mrs. Sherri Machelle (Keith) Evans, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at The Chandler University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky having attained the age of 48 years, 10 months and 1 day.  She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on Wednesday, November 29, 1972, the daughter of Alan Brake and Donna (Smith) Loukes. She was of the Christian faith, member of Englewood Church, and was a missionary visiting numerous churches, both in the United States as well as in foreign countries. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Evans, brother, Clyde Campbell, grandmother, whom raised her as her own, Velma Smith.

     She is survived by her mother, Donna (Smith) Loukes of Monticello, Kentucky, father, Alan Brake of Monticello, Kentucky, grandfather whom raised her as his own, William Clyde Smith, children, Joshua Tyler Keith (& Ashley Dyer) of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, Cody Alan Keith (& Emily Sullivan) of Monticello, Kentucky, Jessica Hailey ( & Danny) Gregory of Monticello, Kentucky siblings, Robert Campbell (& Angela Miller), Sue Anne Loukes, Justin Brake, Misty Brake, Susie (& Michael) Martin, Patsy (& Michael) Blevins all of Monticello, Kentucky, grandchildren, Issiah Dyer, Kamily Keith, Oliver Keith.  and many other relatives and friends.

     The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Seth Denney officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. New's Monticello Funeral Home of Monticello, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
