Minnie Lee (Fulton) Jones

Ms. Minnie Lee (Fulton) Jones of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at her residence in Monticello, Kentucky having attained the age of 83 years, 4 months and 18 days. She was born on Saturday, March 28, 1942, in the Zula community of Wayne County, Kentucky, the daughter of William Thomas & Minnie Belle (Riddle) Fulton. In her free time, she enjoyed yard sales and years ago spent many hours on the CB Radio as the “County Girl”. In her later years she enjoyed spending the afternoons on Facebook catching up with her friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia “Jenny” Dishman, brothers, Tommie J. Fulton Jr., Charlie Fulton, and sisters, Georgia Stinson, and Frances Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty (& Richard) West, sister, Nettie (& Levi) Malone, niece, Imogene Chladek, grandchildren, Travis West, Derek Dishman, Ashley (& Coty) Moore, and great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Ford.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial was in the Five Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Derek Dishman, Travis West, Coty Moore, Todd Anderson, Adam Hammock, and Richard McCoy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
