Mrs. Loretta (Keith) Baker of Monticello, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital of Somerset, Kentucky, having attained the age of 75 years and 7 months. She was born on Thursday, November 16, 1950, in Wayne County, Kentucky, the daughter of Obie & Ida (New) Keith. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Fall Creek Church but also attended The Father’s House. Loretta enjoyed tending to her flower garden, knitting, crocheting, and setting a good example for her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Keith; sister, Sue Crase; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Keith.

She is survived by her husband, John Baker, whom she wed on May 15, 1971; children, Suzanna (& Jay) Powell and Jonathan Baker; siblings, Donald Keith, Ronnie (& Young) Keith, and Jackie Keith; grandchildren, Dillion Powell, Kallie Powell, Kinley Baker, Kolton Baker; step-grandchildren, Kaden Hollars and Kaylee Hollars.

The funeral service was conducted on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Amos Dishman officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Casket bearers were Kaden Hollers, Jay Powell, Tylor Foster, Anthony Dishman, Kallie Powell, John Cooper, Todd Chmura, and Dillion Powell.
