Lisa Joann Hunley

Miss. Lisa Joann Hunley, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Kentucky, having attained the age of 55 years, 4 months, & 5 days. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on Wednesday, June 12, 1968 the daughter of Anna Sue (Hunley) Piercy and step-father Jep Piercy. In addition to her step-father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stacy Bruce “Bub” Hunley.

She is survived by her mother, son, Patrick Stacious Hunley, special daughter great-neice, Ariella Greene, siblings, Jennifer Hunley & Wendell Smith, Tara Piercy Greene, all of Monticello, Kentucky, Kenneth Piercy of Lexington, Kentucky, nieces & nephews, Jason Roberts, Breanna Hicks, Christan Piercy, David Murphy, and two great nieces.

Funeral service was conducted on Monday, October 23, at 2 p.m. EST, in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home, with Bro. Kelvin Upchurch officiating. Pallbearers were Patrick Stacious Hunley, Jason Roberts, David Murphy, Breanna Hicks, Christian Piercy. Honorary pallbearers were Ariella Greene, Paisley Coffey, and Cambree Coffey. Burial was in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, family asks for donations to be made to New’s Monticello Funeral Home.
