Linda Lou (Russell) Roberts

Mrs. Linda Lou (Russell) Roberts of Monticello, Kentucky died Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Wayne County Hospital, having attained the age of 76 years & 13 days. She was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on Saturday, November 2, 1946 the daughter of John Henry and Ruby (Dean) Russell. She was of the Pentecostal faith, attended Highway Holiness Church, and was a shirt factory worker for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Roberts, siblings, Logan Russell, Gary Russell, Billy “Buck” Russell, Lanny Prince, and Kay Winfrey.

      She is survived by her children, John (& Ava) Roberts of Albany, Kentucky, Dennis Shawn Roberts of Monticello, Kentucky, siblings, Phyllis Southwood, and Debbie (& James) Dishman both of Monticello, Kentucky, grandchildren, Cortney (& Brent) Reeves, Tamika (& Brian) Bowers, Brayden Roberts, great-grandchildren, Aubree Reeves, Abel Reeves, Camille Reeves, Alek Bowers, Emma Bowers, Oliver Bowers, sisters-in-law, Ella Faye Russell, and Carolyn Prince both of Monticello, Kentucky, along with several nieces and nephews.

     The Funeral Service was conducted Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. e.s.t. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan, and Bro. Jim England officiating. Special singing by Kyle Cross, Velma Cross, and Darrell Wayne Ragan. Casket bearers were Wes Russell, Luke Southwood, Harley Southwood, Quinton Baker, Dalton Southwood, and Brad West. Burial was in the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky.
