Letha Louise (Mayfield) Keith

Mrs. Letha Louise (Mayfield) Keith, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at her residence in Wayne County, Kentucky having attained the age of 74 years, 9 months & 23 days. She was born on Monday, February 23, 1948 in the Spann Hill Community of Wayne County, Kentucky the daughter of Zina (New) Steele. She was a Christian woman of the Baptist faith, and an employee of General Electric. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Kay Keith, whom she wed in April of 1967, son, Bobby Dewayne Keith, brother, Jimmy Lair.

     She is survived by her daughter, Janet (& Danny) Decker of Monticello, Kentucky, sister, Wilma Stinson of Bronston, Kentucky, grandchildren, Brooke Decker (& Josh Gross), Ericka Decker, J.T. Keith (& Ashley Dyer), Cody (& Emily) Keith, Hailey (& Danny) Gregory, great-grandchildren, Oaklynn, Kamily, Issiah, Adelyn, Madelyn, Hunner, Oliver, brother-in-law, Mack Keith.

     The Funeral Service was conducted on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Keith McKim officiating. Burial was in the Taylor Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Josh Gross, J.T. Keith, Cody Keith, Danny Gregory, Danny Decker, Issiah Dyer, Drew Rose, and Rodney Kendall. Honorary casket bearer was Mack Keith.

     New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
