Kathy Wiggs Obituary

Mrs. Kathy Mae (Lee) Wiggs of Bronston, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Mercy Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio, having attained the age of 70 years, and 6 days. She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on Monday, August 2, 1954, the daughter of Gaines & Opal (Bass) Lee. Kathy was of the Baptist Faith, a loving homemaker, and enjoyed spoiling her children, shopping, and the trips to Gatlinburg with family. She was preceded in death by her Parents.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Wiggs, whom she wed on Sunday, July 11, 1971, children, Billy (& Minnie) Wiggs of Monticello, Kentucky, Angie Stokes of Monticello, Kentucky and Debra (& Scott) Sanderson of Fairfield, Ohio, sister, Wanda Piercy of Monticello, Kentucky, brothers, Ricky (& Diane) Lee of Monticello, Kentucky, Michael (& Twyla) Lee of Somerset, Kentucky, grandchildren, Brandon (& Morgan) Young, Lindsay (& Adam) Lawson, Kinley (& Nicholas) Eyl, Nathan Stokes, Mallory Stokes, Aaron Wiggs, Charolotte Sanderson, and great-grandchildren, Annalee Young, Elizabeth Young, and Felicity Lawson.

The funeral service was conducted  Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky. Burial was in the Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Scott Brown, Waylon Piercy, Nathan Stokes, Brandon Young, Sammy Grimes, and Justin Piercy.

New’s Monticello Funeral Home of Monticello, Kentucky, was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
