Judy (Neal) Hancock

Mrs. Judy Faye (Neal) Hancock of Monticello, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Kentucky having attained the age of 73 years, 11 months & 1 day. She was born in the Powersburg Community of Wayne County, Kentucky on Sunday, February 25, 1951 the daughter of Walter & Bonnie (Massengale) Neal. Judy was of the Baptist Faith, worked for American Woodmark, and enjoyed Gardening and watching YouTube. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Jimmy K. Hancock, whom she wed on Saturday, April 5, 1969, son, Gary Hancock, and brother, Gary Lee Neal.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Tillman of Georgetown, Kentucky, Siblings, Helen Neal, Martha Beaty, Roger (& Gloria) Neal, all of Monticello Kentucky, George Michael “Mike” Neal of Dover, Tennessee, grandchildren, Xavier (& Haleigh Arledge) Tillman, Garrett (& Casi) Hancock, and great-grandchildren, Nellie Tillman, and Walker Hancock.

The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of New's Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Earnest Mann officiating and special eulogy given by family. Burial was in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were William Criswell, Xavier Tillman, Kirt Neal, Josh Neal, Billy Joe Beaty, and Eli Beaty.
