Mrs. Joyce Evelyn (Abbott) Eaton of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Wayne County, Kentucky, passed away on Friday March 27, 2026, at her residence in Glasgow, Kentucky, having attained the age of 75 years, 11 months and 4 days. She was born on Sunday, April 23, 1950, in the Eadsville Community of Wayne County, Kentucky the daughter of Andrew Ellis & Velma (Zimmerman) Abbott. She was of the Christian faith, and attended the Cane Valley Baptist Church in Columbia, Kentucky. She was a loving homemaker and cared deeply for all her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lymon Abbott, Bobby Joe Abbott, grandson, Seth Aaron Eaton, granddaughter, Abbie Grace Eaton, son-in-law, Donovan Ball, father & mother-in-law, Hobart Eaton & Rosie Eaton Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Eaton of Glasgow, Kentucky, whom she wed on October 1, 1966; children, Paula E. Ball of Chapmanville, West Virginia, James (& Ginger) Eaton of Columbia, Kentucky, Dallas II (& Kelly) Eaton of Austin Tracy, Kentucky, Timothy (& Debbie) Eaton of Glasgow, Kentucky; siblings, Mary Kuhn of Indianapolis, Indiana, Delbert (& Marisa) Abbott of Columbia, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Donna Abbott of Monticello, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Hannah, Sarah, Logan, Kayla, Sophie, Trevor, Tori, Peyton, great-grandchildren, Allison, Erin, Hunter, Kynleigh, Grayson, Dallas Paige, Jace, Aubrey, Andrew, Raylynn & Zoey.

The funeral service was conducted on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. EST in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Judd & Frank Chriswell officiating. Casket Bearers were Peyton Eaton, Tyler Eaton, Logan Eaton, Dakota Hodges, Trevor Willis, and Kyle Eaton. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky
