Josiah Clay Meece

Mr. Josiah Clay Meece, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at his residence having attained the age of 18 years, 10 months, and 10 days. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on Saturday, July 16, 2005, the son of Bro. Larry & Stacy (Kidd) Meece. He attended Monticello First Methodist Church and worked in maintenance for Conley Bottom Resort. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and demolition derby. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse Clayborn & JoAnn (Cook) Meece, and brother, Mordecai Valor Meece.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Hudson Meece, siblings, Amber (& Mikkle) Hampton, Aaliyah (& Aiden) Meece, Devin (& Jerrica) Meece, Elijah (& Brooklyn) Meece, Judah Meece, Glory Meece, Shalom Meece, and Mercy Meece, maternal grandparents, Benny & Rita (Kidd) Dick, and many Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Monticello First Methodist Church in Monticello, Kentucky with Bro. Seth Denney officiating.
