Helen (Pittman) Corder

Mrs. Helen (Pittman) Corder, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehabilitation in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 74 years, 1 month and 15 days. She was born on Monday, October 24, 1949 in Monticello the daughter of Marcus & Lula (Gregory) Pittman. She was a homemaker, a Christian, a member of The Old Sandusky Church, & enjoyed reading her Bible & listening to the hour of harvest. She was preceded in death by her parents.

     She leaves to cherish her memory her Husband, Regial Edward Corder whom she Wed on December 14, 1993, of Monticello, Step-daughter, Sherrie Fortner of Monticello, Step-son, Tracy Corder of Monticello, Step-daughters, Lisa Foster of Monticello, Melinda Corder of Monticello, & April Corder of Covington, Kentucky, Brother, Marcus “Jr.” Pittman of Monticello.

     The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Joshua Steele officiating. Burial was in The Corder Cemetery in McCreary County, Kentucky. New’s Monticello Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
