Glenna L. Branscum

Ms. Glenna L. Branscum of Monticello, Kentucky passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the Cumberland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Kentucky, having attained the age of 78 years, and 2 months. She was born in the Lower Turkey Creek Community of Wayne County, Kentucky on Friday, February 28, 1947, the daughter of Robert & Stella (Alton) Branscum. She was of the Baptist faith, a loving homemaker, and enjoyed caring for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Hubert Branscum, Emmo Branscum, Eddie Branscum, Noel Branscum, nephews, Charles Flynn, and Clifford Branscum.

She is survived by her son, David Branscum of Somerset, Kentucky, siblings, Wilma B. Flynn of Monticello, Kentucky, Lester Branscum, Leonard Branscum, both of Somerset, Kentucky, nieces & nephews, Willie Flynn, Arthur (& Jill) Flynn, Helen Rednour, Mary Flynn, Sarah Branscum, Laura Branscum, Jeremy Branscum, and Roger Branscum.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. E.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the New’s Monticello Funeral Home, with Bro. Clifford Tucker & Bro. Adam Tucker officiating. Burial was in the Alton Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Family & Funeral Home Staff.
