Mrs. Evelyn (Atkinson) Turner of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at The Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 71 years, 4 months, and 29 days. She was born in Monticello, Kentucky on Monday, March 3, 1952, the daughter of Orbie K. & Tina (Cooper) Atkinson. She was a Christian, who loved reading and caring for her fur baby. She also worked at the T.Q. factory for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd “Bill” Turner, siblings, Phyllis Piercy and Kenneth Gibson.

She is survived by her children, Farrah K. (& Greg) Paretzoglou of Indiana, and William Turner of Monticello, Kentucky, siblings, Margaret Hicks and Billy Atkinson both of Monticello, Kentucky, grandchildren, Mia Jozi Turner, James William Bruce Turner, and Jayden William Thomas Turner.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. New’s Monticello Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
