Obituary
Mr. Edward “Eddie” Branscum of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 25 days. He was born in the Lower Turkey Creek Community of Wayne County, Kentucky on Monday, March 12, 1956, the son of Robert and Stella (Alton) Branscum. He worked at Specially Woodwork and attended Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Hubert Branscum and Emmo Branscum.
He is survived by his siblings Glenna Branscum, of Monticello, Kentucky, Noel Branscum of Indiana, Wilma B. Flynn, Lester Branscum, and Leonard Branscum all of Monticello, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service was conducted on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. in The Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky, with the burial in the Alton Cemetery. Casket bearers were Michael Ballou, Jansyn Tucker, Issac Dick, Jeff Dick, Clayton Godsey, Jackson Godsey. New’s Monticello Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
