Obituary
Mr. Eddie Eric Piercy, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Kentucky having attained the age of 42 years, and 11 days. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on Monday, March 31, 1980, the son of Arvie and Betty (Sidwell) Piercy. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of Rogers Grove Baptist Church, worked as a craftsman for American Woodmart before becoming disabled 4 years ago. He is preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his father, Arvie Piercy of Monticello, Kentucky, daughter, Madelynne “Maddie” Piercy of Monticello, Kentucky, brothers, Allen Boils, Troy Boils, Ronald Boils all from Albany, Kentucky.
The funeral service was conducted on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Wayne County, Kentucky with Bro. Danny Bell officiating. Casket bearers were Brandon Boils, Josh Asberry, DaKota Boils, Derrick Barnett, Jim Brown, Jeffery Foster, Dennis Brumley, and Chris Dobbs. Burial was in the Cartwright Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
