Eddie Neal

Mr. Eddie Neal passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at the Wayne County Hospital having attained the age of 81 years, 8 months & 21 days. He was born on Thursday, December 10, 1942 in The Powersburg Community of Wayne County, Kentucky the son of Fount & Della Mae (Frost) Neal. He was of the Baptist Faith, a member of The Fall Creek Baptist Church, was a retired Coal Miner, liked cars & trucks, farming, and the social hour with his friends at the local restaurants. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna (Dishman) Neal, Brothers, Clyde Neal, Bill Neal, Russell Neal, Dan Neal, Kenny Neal, Ramie Neal, Dean Neal, sisters, Leta Mae Todd & Rosalie Neal.

He is survived by his Son, Bobby Joe Neal of Monticello, daughter, Amy Marie (& Scot) Daniels of Burkesville, Siblings, Jody (& Ina Mae) Neal of Monticello, Peggy Shelton of Albany, Dave Neal of Monticello, Grandchildren, Chelsea (& Austin) Barrier, Felecia Neal (& Austin Sexton), Amber (& Jake) Dial, Devin Daniels (& Cassidy Willis), great-grandchildren, Chloe Prince & Maggie Sexton, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. E.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Burks, and Johnny Davis officiating. Burial was in the Dishman Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Austin Sexton, Austin Barrier, Randall Shelton, Jake Dial, Marty Neal, and Doug Neal.
