Mrs. Della Ann (Divens) Sexton of Monticello, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Mountain Health & Rehab in Monticello, Kentucky, having attained the age of 74 years, 8 months and 26 days. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on Tuesday, September 26, 1950, the daughter of Lawrence and Ellen Elizabeth (Schafer) Divens. She was of the Christian faith, and worked for Larand Leisurelies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jackie Ray Poore, Bobby Poore, and Troy Poore.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Sexton of Monticello, Kentucky, whom she wed on Sunday, April 28, 1991, siblings, Larry Divens of Indiana, Deloris Hunt of Florida, and special friend, Josephine Morris of Monticello, Kentucky.
The family chose to conduct a private funeral service on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, with burial in the Elk Springs Cemetery.
