Mr. Darrell Lee Piercy, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at his residence in Wayne County, Kentucky having attained the age of 60 years, 8 months & 3 days. He was born on Sunday, April 8, 1962 in Wayne County, Kentucky the son of Edward and Ora Jane (Stephens) Piercy. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Piercy.
He is survived by his children, Amy Piercy of Monticello, Kentucky, Holly Piercy, Abigail Piercy of Monticello, Kentucky, siblings, Donnie (& Pam) Piercy, Peggy (Jerry) Daniel both of Monticello, Kentucky, grandchildren, Jasmine Piercy, Gabe Piercy, Bryson Lewis, Raelynn Lewis, Jamie Lewis, nieces, Sierra (Piercy) (& Daniel) Hoskins, Chelsey Piercy, along with his special friend Teresa Piercy of Monticello, Kentucky.
The Funeral Service was conducted on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. E.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial was in the Old Bethel Church Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Lonnie Burchett, Roger Dishman, Billy Catron, Daniel Haskins, Troy Hicks, Amos Dishman, Kelsey Philpot, and Trenton Philpot. In lieu of flowers contributions to help pay the final expenses would be appreciated and may be left at the funeral home.
