Bro. Lee Baydie Winchester

Bro. Lee Beydie Winchester, of Wayne County, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky having attained the age of 57 years, 4 months and 3 days.  He was born in New Castle, Indiana on Thursday, April 16, 1964, the son of John and Stella Pauline (Chriswell) Winchester. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of Hidalgo Baptist Church, and a retired bus driver and custodian for the Wayne County School System. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Howe, brothers, Johnny Winchester, Glen Slagle.

     He is survived by his wife, Ima (Daniels) Winchester whom he wed Thursday, April 16, 1981, children, Johnathan (& Alicia) Winchester of Monticello, Kentucky, Timothy (& Courtney) Winchester of Monticello, Kentucky, Sam (& Jennifer) Winchester of Pine Knot, Kentucky, siblings, Barbara Roysdon of Monticello, Kentucky, Darlene (& Carmel) Stinson of Monticello, Kentucky, Virginia Turner of Monticello, Kentucky, Pearl West of Monticello, Kentucky, Thelma Ramsey, Eugene Slagle of Monticello, Kentucky, grandchildren, Andrew, Logan, Gabriel, Michael, Abel, Isaac, Dawson, Rivers.

     The funeral service was conducted Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky with Bro. Jimmy Decker officiating. Special singing by Wanda Lockridge and Ricky Hicks. Casket bearers were Johnathan Winchester, Timothy Winchester, Sam Winchester, Andrew Winchester, Logan Winchester, JR Jones. Burial was in the Dishman Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky. New’s Monticello Funeral Home of Monticello, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
