Boyd Allen Easterly

Mr. Boyd Allen Easterly, of The Mt. Zion Community in Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, having attained the age of 70 years, 2 months & 25 days. He was born in the Mt. Zion Community on Tuesday, December 25, 1951 the son of Stanley Ray & Beulah Mae (Warren) Easterly. He was a Christian & Faithful Member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, worked at Tecumseh until he became disabled. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Grandson, Bentley William Easterly, & his Sister, Ruth Ann Brown.

      He is survived by his Wife, Deborah (Bradshaw) “Debbie” Easterly whom he wed Tuesday, July 25, 1978, Sons, Martin (& Stephanie) Easterly of Somerset, Chris Easterly (& Toshia Cooper) of Eubank, Grandchildren, Chase Easterly, Jaxon Easterly & Brynlee Easterly, Siblings, Nancy (& Bill) Dick of Mt. Zion, Lloyd (& Peggy) Easterly of Beech Grove, Wilma (& Paul) Ferguson of Somerset, Lois (& Jack) Nelson of Tennessee, Brothers-in-law, Howard Brown of Somerset, Ronald (& Pauline) Bradshaw of Stanford, Tommy Bradshaw, Richard Bradshaw, & Robert Bradshaw all of Somerset, Sisters-in-law, Teresa Proudfoot, Janice Surber both of Somerset, Regina Bradshaw of Mt. Zion, & Tammy (& Mike) Tilley of Beech Grove, Nieces & Nephews, David, Jody, Sherry, Robbie, Lora & Andrea.

     The Funeral Service was conducted on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at The Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Bro. Phil Scott officiating. Casket bearers were Shannon Gibson, Robbie Tarter, David Dick, Mitchell Scott New, Dylan Bradshaw, Steven Jones. Cremation followed the service. In lieu of flowers contributions are appreciated to the Mt. Zion Cemetery in his memory.
