Betty Dean (Bertram) Catron

Mrs. Betty Dean (Bertram) Catron of Monticello, Kentucky died Friday, November 18, 2022 at her residence, having attained the age of 89 years 2 months, & 13 days. She was born in the Sunnybrook Community of Wayne County, Kentucky on Saturday, September 9, 1933 the daughter of Hayden and Annie (Catron) Bertram. She was of the Baptist faith, loved her cats, and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Deloris Jones, Wanda Blevins, grandson, Brandon Denney, siblings, Everett Bertram, Georgia Denney, Millie Clark, and Rob Bertram.

      She is survived by her children, husband, Logan Catron, whom she wed on Friday, December 18, 1964, children, Randell (& Jennie) Denney of Louisville, Kentucky, Donald (& Joy) Denney of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, Diane (& Andy) Reynolds, David (& Dora) Catron, Terry Catron all of Monticello, Kentucky, brother, Ray (& Verdie) Bertram of Monticello, Kentucky, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchild, along with a host of other family members and friends.

     The Funeral Service was conducted Monday, November 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. e.s.t. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Davis officiating. Casket bearers were Matthew Catron, Anthony Reynolds, James Reynolds, Paul Blevens, Owen Morrow, Preston Reynolds, and Allison Blevens. Burial was in the Taylors Grove Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky.
